Who we are
The Community Kollel of Dallas seeks to strengthen our Jewish community through the shared experience of Torah study in a non-judgmental environment. A unique combination of worldliness and Judaic scholarship characterizes the men & women of the Kollel, who are wonderful ambassadors of Jewish living and learning in our modern society. The Community Kollel of Dallas is in partnership with Yeshiva University's Center for the Jewish Future. Both share a profound commitment to Torah learning and living in the modern world; a strong connection to the people and land of Israel, as expressed in the State of Israel, whose formation is viewed as the beginning of the ultimate redemption of the Jewish people; and a belief in the intrinsic value of secular learning as another manifestation of God's wisdom in the world. |
